Safety Surfaces for Parks and Playgrounds
Parks and playgrounds are somewhere for children to have fun and be adventurous, but they should also be a safe environment. Safety surfaces help with the safety. Having safety surfaces around your play equipment will reduce the injuries to the children. Our wet pour safety surface can also add some fun to the playground. We can use different colours to create a logo, a trail or any other eye-catching graphic. This makes the playground much more exciting for the children. Wet pour surfaces are also porous, so they allow any rainwater to drain away very quickly, stopping any puddling and leaving the playground ready to be used soon after the rain has stopped.
We have also installed soft bond in parks and playgrounds. Soft bond looks like bark chippings, but as it is bonded together it does not move around the park, a great advantage over traditional chippings. Traditional chippings get pushed about during normal play, leaving a dusty or muddy ground where the chippings once were. In addition traditional chippings are a magnet for cats and foxes, who use the chippings as their toilet. The soft bond surface is a clean and hygenic surface, which will provide protection to the children from injuries when they fall.
